What
is Plaswall?
Plaswall is a unique fibrocement 'lost in place' or permanent
concrete formwork
-
It replaces costly steel, aluminum and plywood formworks
-
It produces a complete load bearing wall with a complete
rendered finish
-
It increases site production by as much as 300%
-
It requires significantly lower skilled labor to build high
quality concrete homes and buildings
Plaswall
is a range of custom-manufactured modular walls, to suit any
design or architectural requirement. It is a fast, hassle-free,
hygienic and economical, pre-engineered and prefabricated
modular load-bearing construction system.
As
a 'lost in place' formwork system, Plaswall is applicable
for any kind of concrete on the market, such as cellular light
weight up to full weight structural concrete as well as thermally
insulated walls especially designed for hot and cold climates.
This
patented technology can meet every need. It uses HIMI
(High Impact Moulded Inserts) bonded between two layers of
fiber cement boards in situ and erected to produce a straight-to-finish
wall. A monolithic structure is then created by filling the
entire structure with concrete. Additional load capacity can
be obtained by providing extra reinforcing bars and/or increasing
the grade of the concrete.
Patented
Plaswall is manufactured from specially designed plastic spacers
made from 100% recycled plastic and fibrocement boards, all
bonded together with adhesive to form a very strong self supporting
formwork, capable of being filled onsite with wet concrete.
- Walls
are custom manufactured to size in the factory and delivered
to the site.
- No
cutting required.
- Window
and door openings come with optional metal jambs.
- Guaranteed
3000psi on all wall Core-fill.
Comparison
between Plaswall and other systems:
Plywood
formworks are very expensive and very time consuming, requiring
highly skilled carpenters and large amounts of materials to
produce the structure!
Even
after the removal of the forms there is full repair and rendering
works to do.
Many
of the materials are not reusable.
Steel
formworks require very large capital outlay and are heavy
to install.
They
require cranes, plus large amounts of scaffold and manpower
to install.
Its
difficult to install rebars, even when removed (by
crane) still rendering and finishing of concrete remains,
limiting in architectural design flexibility.
Plaswall
is a prefabricated fibrocement formwork, light, simple and
easy to install, manually without cranes.
Only
wall braces are needed for support of 'cast in situ' pouring
of concrete.
After
the concrete walls are ready to accept jointing and final
paint, spacers hold rebars in correct position, requiring
no rebar tie wires.
All
electrical wires and plumbing are completed prior to pouring
of concrete.
The
Plaswall Building System is
suitable for all types of construction, from small socialized
housing to commercial structures.
Plaswall
is probably the fastest, cleanest and most cost effective
concrete walling system on the market.
Ideal
for hot climates due to zero rendering needed.
